Many times exective and upper management outside of marketing make decisions for marketing when they have no background or experience in marketing. We aren’t talking about well informed decisions, based on credible reports or extensive research, we’re talking about decisions that change the landscape of their company’s direction, their ability to do lead generation and maintain brand visibility and credibility and the decision is made on a “gut feeling” or “best guess”. I have to admit that my iPhone functions as my computer away from home and I don’t know what I would or did without it. While I’m no where near the app addict that many are, I do use a few quite frequently and here is a list of what’s “hot” right now on my iPhone (notice there are no games listed here, given that the only games on my iPhone are for my 2 year old I decided to leave his favorites to another post).

Nothing has made more of an impact in the technology advertising space than the brilliant minds behind the Mac vs. PC ads. Every single one of them stands on it’s own as great positioning statement, however together, they tell such a powerful story that I dare say Microsoft will never be able to shake the impact of these ads. I just completed moving 5 different WordPress sites over to a new hosting company and it actually went pretty smoothly. Thanks to the great documentation and forums on www.wordpress.org and a little help from my hosting company, it took a total of four hours total to complete, not too bad given I didn’t lose any data, all sites were down less than 30 min a piece and all of the sites had to undergo DNS changes.
I had been previously hosting all of my sites with Textdrive, which turned into Joyent, which turned into not the best or most affordable solution for my hosting needs. Now that transfers are complete, I can start paying a little more attention to my own blogs.
I just discovered the cool integration of my iPhone with MobileMe galleries. I know, I’m a little late to the game to figure out how easy it is to upload photos and share the in galleries through my phone. I have to admit though, it’s so easy to do that now I have no excuse for getting photos uploaded for family viewing.

What could be better
than being stuck in the airport and being able to play PacMan? I was thrilled to find out that I could download PacMan for the iPod but quickly was disappointed to find out that I can’t get it for my iPhone. I’m hoping with the release of the new G3 iPhone this summer that I will be able to download games on the iPhone. Not that I actually play video games (I generally don’t) but I do travel a lot which means that there are lots of hours in airports and sitting on runways so games on the iPhone as a backup to kill the time is a must have for me.
